I bought this software to combine some business related DVDs thinking it would be easy and it turns out to be anything but. First, as with almost all software these days, the help files are of little help. The FAQs in one example say to "Select combine 2 videos into one" but there is no such command prompt to do this. Eventually you will probably accidently notice a shaded picture on the control panel of 2 DVDs combining into one DVD so you suddenly have an "ahaa" moment but it would have been nice if they just told you to look for the picture. Even the support people don't think to tell you to look at the background pictures that are barely visable. They just say to select combine 2 into one. Ok so one hurdle down now to actually combine my dvds. It looks easy just follow the prompts. Insert 1st dvd press next, select path press next, select menu style press next, select number of copies press start, good so far. First copy burning looks good. First dvd complete insert 2nd dvd click ok. Easy enough. Then wait, and wait, and wait. Nothing happens. System freezes and won't read the 2nd dvd. Ok so I try again, same result, so I wonder if there's a problem with my second dvd because I burned it from my computer to dvd with a different software so I try to just copy it with the Cloner VI and it works no problem. Plays fine on my dvd player so I use the Cloner VI copy to try to combine with the same result, freeze and won't read. I'm ready to ask for a refund but I submit another ticket to support. Two positive aspects of the product are the Cloner VI works good as a 1:1 copier as long as you insure that you adjust the burn speed to match your blank dvd. Also support answers quickly although I don't believe English is their primary language so they don't always provide a full response to your issue. Supposedly you can record to your hard drive but you can't play it on your computer for some reason I have as yet to determine. That will be my next support ticket. All in all I have to disagree with the rating given by the experts here.
