InterVideo DVD Copy Platinum is a good option for converting your DVD movies to formats other than just DVD. You can convert it to Divx, VCD, or SVCD and copy to a CD-R or DVD. Or, you can just copy your entire DVD movie including menus and bonus material to a DVD-R. You can also put different DVD movies onto one disc if they are small movies. DVD Copy Platinum does not have CSS decryption capabilities and does not respond well to third party decryptors or rippers.

Feature Set:
Some of the key features that InterVideo DVD Copy Platinum offer include; the ability to copy all the menus, subtitles, bonus features, etc. to two discs or compress it to fit to one disc, the ability to copy your DVD movie to CD-Rs, and the ability to combine multiple movies to one disc. You can also control the compression and exclude extra languages and subtitles to reduce the amount of compression. It lacks the ability to exclude bonus material and menus and it lacks the CSS decryptor.
With InterVideo 5 you can copy movies for your iPod or PSP. Additional supported formats include WMB, AVI, DVR-MS and MPEG-2 up to 1920 x 1080 for HD.
Ease of Use:
InterVideo DVD Copy Platinum is very easy to use and has a simple and clean interface. However, we found it difficult when trying to copy an encrypted DVD. You have to use a separate ripper, save the movie to your hard drive and then use InterVideo to burn. And sometimes InterVideo didn't reconize the ripped files.
Ease of Installation:
This product is very easy to install but you need to find and download a CSS decryptor and then rip the DVD to your hard drive first.
Quality of Copy:
We had mixed results with this software. Sometimes the quality of the DVD copy was great, other times it would only copy the menu and then the DVD would freeze.
Program Stability:
We encountered a few problems while using this product. The software did not respond well when we were using our computer for other functions that required a lot of ram. And sometimes it had difficulty responding when we placed an encrypted DVD into the drive.
Summary:
Overall, InterVideo is a good option for specific features, such as copying movies to a CD-R in a variety of formats. It is also very easy to use and intuitive.
